How long was your Form 4 approval wait?

I am waiting on BATF approval of a Form 4 for the transfer of a suppressor. It's my first NFA purchase, and I understand the approval process is taking longer these days, having slowed considerably since this past September.

I'd like to hear how long you waited for approval of your Form 4's over the past nine months or so.

This was eight years ago, but I remember it took five months.

Longer ago - - -

I sent in my completed Form 4 paperwork on 11 NOV 1993. Approval came back 60 days later. This was on a submachine gun.

Approvals are running 90 to 120 days in my area lnowadays, but I don't get feedback on all of those through my agency.

Best,
Johnny

4 months. Relax. Use the wait to visualize a perfect drawstroke.

This was in 86, but my papers came back in just over 30 days. I sent a copy of a previous transfer with them, seems that it helped. I've heard horror stories of 6 months plus, guess I was lucky.
