Laserlyte rear sight

Looking at putting one of these on an SR40. Two questions: Does the SR9 model fit the SR40, and is the iron sight portion of it adjustable for elevation?

According to there web site, no it will not fit. To be sure why not email or call them and get it straight from the horsies mouth.
