NEF 20ga. Slug Gun
Im thinking of picking one of these single shots up here soon, whats your view on them? The one Im thinking of getting is the Ultra Slug Hunter it has the fully rifled heavy barrel on it.
I have a friend of mine that has one and he is thrilled with it, the accuracy is real good also he said, I have never shot it yet. Maybe this weekend I will try getting up with him. Does the 20ga. thump ya all that bad? Scott

Scott, best buddy has one in 12 gauge, and it's a sweet shooter. It's no lightweight, and very muzzle heavy. He stand hunts, and the nose heavy feel doesn't bother him. IMO, it's a little much for still hunting.
Accuracy with a scope and the proper sabot load is around 2 1/2" @ 100 yds, he says. The one time I shot it, the two rounds shot went into overlapping holes at about 75 yards. As for the 20, should be about the same effect. HTH... |

If i were to acquire one of the NEF guns, I'd pick up one of the handi rifles and a shotgun barrel to go with it, then i'd be able to use whatever calibers i wanted.
