Touching up finish on matte Browning BDM

Hey guys I was cleaning my dads BDM today and when I was cleaning out the switch that changes SA/DA and DAO, I made a nice mark on the edge of the slide where it meets the circle. I feel terrible.

I've heard the finish on this gun is flimsy but wow.

Anyway is there any product you guys would recommend to just touch up the exposed metal?

I would just use a cold blue since its just a touch up. Just make sure you degrease the area with acetone, autozone degreaser, ect first and then apply the cold bule with a q-tip, repeat as necessary.

I like this kind, works well and stays on the affected area and dosent run.

Thanks for the input ill give it a shot. I did some skilled work with a black marker to touch it up for now.

He didn't seem to care much. I think it bothered me more then him.

Birchwood Casey makes a matte finish touch up pen that might work as well.
