Photobuckets question
Quickly before this question is locked for being off-topic, can anyone tell me what has to be done to display Photobucket images. I have downloaded Photobucket but all I get are advertisements when trying to display. I'm not using a regular computer but rather a Samsung tablet 4. Maybe I need to register someway in PB.

I just downloaded it on my Motorola Droid Turbo. There was a screen that wanted me to either set up an account or sign in. You do need an account with photobucket to use it. I signed in and it showed me all my pictures. I selected a picture and the share icon became visible. You select how you want to share it ( in this case "copy link to clipboard" then post the link in the forum) and proceed from there.

In PB your library click on the "railroad sleepers" in the thumbnail.
click on "SHARE" A box pops up, click on "Direct" (it should say "Copied"). Shift/Tab over here. Click on the yellow pic of a mountain at the top of the "reply to thread" dialog box. Another dialog box pops up. Hit {control} "V" the text appears in blue. Hit {enter}. Type the irritating "Images (c) *your handle here* {year of date taken}" to stop the copyright police deleting it.

Thanks; I'll look into it more closely. Wouldn't think you would have to establish an account in order to view photos posted by others.

Wogpotter,
The OP was talking about using an Android app to access photobucket. The process is slightly different than on the pc. The app requires you to sign in to your account. The web page on a computer does not just to look at someone elses pictures (those they mark as viewable publicly). |
