COLT -percussion revolver --BLUEPRINTS OR DIMENSIONS?

Hello from south east Africa

As I am now determined to build a percussion revolver
after 2 years of building flintlock & percussion cap rifles
I cannot find MR Sam Colts dimensions of his revolvers

I would really love some scale drawings or measurements --taken from an original peacemaker or Walker Colt cap revolver ,circa 1857 ? or nearest ?

Iwas given --2 years ago --all the dimensions /scale drawings ==of a French
muzzle loading Flintlock --1776 ---from a mveraster Gunsmith in Poland

Now I CANNOT FIND any dimensions ---only a lot of old drawings of Colts
revolvers------great detail --

BUT HOW BIG ? is the revolving CYLINDER --/Trigger mechanism etc
say 40 cal bore ?
any dimensions would be greatly appreciated --

Maybe there's something here that could help:
Colt’s Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Company Records, circa 1810-1980 (RG 103)

I have a friend in South Africa seems guns are readily available with licensing. He is a Glock competition shooter.

Are cap and ball revolvers not available where you are located?

BG - I don't have plans, but I'm curious. Do you intend to use CNC or the older milling machines and lathe?
