Both of them should be sentenced to 10 years in prison. Someone like that should never be allowed to hunt.

This actually happened less than a dozen miles from my home. There are backstories to this not publicized and I'm not going into them here, but suffice to say, the major concern was that if these kids do this to animals (yes, there were other videos discovered), how soon would it be before the jump is made to humans.

PA Game Commission and all police involved took their time, to make sure the case is as tight as possible (a good friend is county detective), and since sentences are light, a major concern is psychological counseling.

As an aside, a few years back, this was the same locale where a guy was arrested for stopping on a state highway to give artificial recessitation to a dead & flattened groundhog, laying in the middle of the road.

It's disturbing that the sentences would be light, and also that stories like these are not in the forefront of national news. Like they're kind of brushing it under the rug. No amount of counseling will help a psychopath.

These violent little cretins deserve public canings.

Update:

Each have been charged with four felonies:

Quote:
The Game Commission said Alexander Brock Smith, 18, and a 17-year-old teen boy are the ones charged. Each faces two felony counts of aggravated animal cruelty and two felony counts of conspiracy to commit aggravated animal cruelty among other charges.
