Modifying a leather J Frame holster
I have a very nice leather Kramer MSP paddle holster for a S&W J frame snubby with 2" barrel. I recently sold the 2" barrel snubby (M&P 340) and am replacing with a 3" barrel S&W Model 60-15.
Was looking for advice on whether I could easily modify the Kramer holster to accommodate the new 3" barrel J frame? Right now the part of the holster where the barrel goes is "scrunched" closed given that it was made for the 2" barrel. Is there an easy way to open this up without destroying the holster? Perhaps I should inquire with Kramer if they could modify it for a reasonable price? Thanks |
