Santa finally came
So Santa came with my Marlin 336W and factory 1.5-5 scope. She was built in early 2003 in No.Haven, CT. Santa paid $299 for her. I'm so excited to finally have my 1st Marlin and 1st lever gun finally here. I think Santa got an outstanding deal on my rifle. The action is smooth and the fit and finish is great and the bore is amazing. So here she is.

A good choice for sure.....and good proof that Santa winters over in the Southwest after the holiday season is taken care of.
Congrats on your new acquisition. |

I don't think Santa brought it, because he doesn't tell how much he pays for anything. Wake up guy....IT WAS AN IMPOSTER!!!

I personally don't care fore scopes on Lever guns, but this one pulls it off

Thanks all. I love this gun. After fixing the previous owner's poor scope mounting technique, a good cleaning and little, very little polishing on the action it's good to go. The action is very smooth, and the bore is spotless. I'm beginning to question how much this rifle has been used. One things for sure I'm gonna use it a lot. I also gotta pound of Hodgdon LVR, a thousand Fed No. 210 primers and a box of Sierra 150Gr. FN bullets for Christmas. Let the reloading begin.

The 336 is one of the easiest rifles in the world to carry afield. Also a very good woods gun for hunting deer.

Sinkhole, try the Leverevolution bullets with the LVR powder. My brother's 336 will put the first two shots from a cold bore into the same hole at 100 yards, which is perfect for hunting.
