30 inch barrel on Wingmaster Classic Trap

In regards to this fine shotgun, it just seems to me like this thing is so freaking long, I'm new to shotguns, but is a 30 inch barrel a good length, for trap, and bird hunting??

And also, any comments on the Remington Wingmaster Classic Trap would be appriciated because i am debating if i'm going to spend the extra chash to buy it, or just be cheap and get the Express combo??

30" is a good length for birds and clays. Whether or not the CT is a better choice than the Express depends on the mission.

For clays, I'd rather have one of the older letter grade trap guns. My 870TB is a clay death ray when I do my part.
