So Jeff Sessions is expectant nominee. Those opposed to the President elect are making their case in the various media mouthpieces why he should not be. On gun control measures he appears on board:

- YES on more penalties for gun & drug violations
- YES on maintaining current law: guns sold without trigger locks

A+ NRA rating. Hard to see any issues here.

There are some weird attempts to link Sessions to the KKK. This is over the top even by the current standards of yellow journalism. Sessions prosecuted the last members of the KKK to lynch a black man in the US years ago; and threw the book at them.

I suppose they don't like a lot of his other viewpoints especially on marijuana. Those views are all off topic here.

Jeff Sessions actually read the TPP proposed legislation and told people what's in it. That is really what a lot of elites are wound up about, the KKK stuff is just a diversion and BS to boot, if you dig into it. It would be hard to find a more honest man.
