go to e-gunparts.com website (Numerich arms)..

they have a cross-reference list, of who made what for whom.

High Standard... Sears owned a chunk of the company back then, and sold a lot of the guns HS made, marked with the Sears brand.

$150 in excellent shape. They are regulars in pawn shops usually priced in good condition guns at $199 but can be bought for $125-150. Most of them are showing their age and can be had much cheaper.

Those old Supermatics were made until about 1975. With the High Standard name stamped on them, they are valued somewhat higher, but not much.

I have one in 20ga, given to me by my Great Uncle over 30 years ago. Most unreliable auto loader I have ever owned. Took alot of game with it as a kid, and it taught me to make the first shot count, as it rarely cycled properly. Mine may just be a lemon, but I wouldn't pay $50 for another one.

Well I finally got out to shoot it today and it was a nice shooting gun. I only shot a hand full of shells out over a large draw so I have no idea how it paterns or any thing but it cycled the round fairly well.
