Information on the scope

I am looking for any information on rifle scope. This is what is on the scope: Golden Falcon, United, Uni-Scope, United Binoculars, Chicago 20, Made in Japan, 4-9 x 40, coated. It looks to me that it was made in 60's or 70's and that it is of a good quality for it's time. Using search engine did not produced any information.

I think you should call them up and nicely ask for the oldest secretary. They usually know more of the company history than almost anybody or will know who you need to talk to.
