Winchester 94 Firing pin?

How hard is it to replace a firing pin in a Winchester 94? A friend of mine has one that will only shoot if the gun is pointed down. Level or up it just dimples the primer. Thank you for your answers.

Changing the FP isn't a big deal. Just a couple of pins to remove. Finding a new FP might be an issue. Gunparts has none, but talk to these guys.

Which M94 your buddy has matters too. Mostly top or side eject.

That also may be the strain screw being backed out. You should check that first.
