gonna' try and get out and shoot some clays this week...
I was in Virginia beach last week with my wife, daughter, SIL and granddaughter. My daughter is delivering a second baby girl today. There are some complications and the doctor wants to induce. Making me nervous as hell. I'm hoping everything comes out OK, so to speak! Wife is staying down for a couple of weeks and I'm back home taking care of things, grass, trash, laundry, etc. But, I plan to visit a few local target ranges the next few days, hopefully to rid some of my anxieties.
My SIL is a US Navy EOD (Explosive Ordinance and Disposal) and senior training instructor at Little Creek, VA, home of the east coast Navy Seal teams. He's being deployed again for the fifth time, next month, back to Afghanistan. At times it gets very difficult to deal with, but that's life in general. His life is much more dangerous than the average Joe, but he selected it. Anyway, I'm rambling. Thanks for listening... |

Fifth rotation to Afghanistan is a bitch, but it is nice that your son in law is there now.

We sent my nephew off to Navy boot camp a few weeks ago, continuing a long family tradition.
It can be a hard life, but the personal rewards are significant, I think. My best to you and your family.
