If you offered me a 710 and said I couldn't get rid of it I wouldnt take it. How a prestigious company like remington can make a piece of crap like the 710 is beyond me. If you want a rifle in that price range buy a savage.
Remington bargin basement rifles of the past, the 788 and the 78, were very good rifles. they should bring them back out!!

It's tragic, and bless her heart. My wife bought it and didn't know any better., but her intensions were good.
