Anyone use the recoil eraser gel pads

Thinking of slipping one on my marlin 45-70 for the hot rounds and was wondering how they work aside from the marketing hype

They have a habit of partially slipping off during recoil.

Doesn't that former gun rag writer have the patent on those, and anything doing with jellyfish for recoil reduction, and stock filling??

Bought one works like a charm no kidding the tough loads in the 45-70 are more than manageable. Awesome worth every penny to this old shooter

Thanks for the followup. I'll keep it in mind--especially for use while sighting in from the bench.
