Smoked the competition!
Used a 3" Dan Wesson "small frame" .357 in Defensive Pistol Back Up Gun and smoked the competition. No I'm not that good--I knew the scoring & course layout better than the others-- but the DW is an excellent, accurate revolver. I'm going to buy a 4" barrel DW next for more IDPA.

Roger, Clyde!
Missed the first Defensive Pistol match but will be there on 5/4. Excellent threads on your posting. Wow! 45 shooters--that's a bunch. The guys that put the show together in Roanoke are doing a great job and each of us that shoot there must tell them "thanks." You will recognize me-- I'll be the one wearing a Glock! |

O' I rember you now
LOL - Yea the guy with the Glock. Was hoping you would bring the Wheel Gun. Yea we were surprised when 45 people showed up to the first match. Lucky the match director had a plan and it went smooth.
I should be able to make it to the May Match. Should be shooting a 1911 or a German Staple Gun - I should not be hard to spot either |
