DuraCoat or DuraHeat? Question for the Pro's........
I've got a question for the pro's that have used these two products.
Let me say a little about myself. I have been spraying cars, trucks for over 30 years. I am certified by DuPont, PPG and Sherwin Williams so I know a little bit about paint. Also,,I have sprayed about 5-6 long guns with "DuraHeat", but have never used the regular two part DuraCoat. My question is,,,what should I use on my 870 Rem 12Ga shot (Slug) gun. Is one better than the other when it comes to durability??? DuraCoat,,,or DuraHeat? (Please no comments about other products) Thanks!

I would use the product you are used too.
But you if you have sprayed two part mixes before then you could use either. No experence with Dura- baked but sprayed Dura-Coat and it will scratch and flake off even with perfect prep work. Last edited by guncrank; October 7, 2013 at 06:40 AM. |
