Any experience with synthetic oil for case lube?
I read the thread on using Pam for case lube...
I used RCBS case lube 30+ years ago (was about like STP). I switched to Lee case lube, and since it was water soluble and lubricated well, it was much easier to use and less sensitive to dents. I have tried Imperial case sizing wax, and it seems to lube very well, but I'm looking for a faster way to apply than individually. Anyone use synthetic oil for case lube? I saw a YouTube video a while back, and it was used on every 10'th case. I normally use mica for lubing the inside of the case necks. |

I'd just put some of that oil on a case lube pad or rag and go for it. The oil certainly won't hurt anything.
I like to tumble in walnut shells and a ripped up paper towel after sizing to clean up the lube. I like the walnut because it doesn't clog the flashhole like corn tends to do. |

If you're using a lube pad, the field expedient is to use plain old dishwashing detergent.
