diamond d guides choice vs galco great alaskan shoulder\chest holster
I'm getting a Ruger super redhawk Alaskan 44 mag and am undecided between two holsters for carry during hunting, any suggestions on which one

Diamond D is good. Same for Barranti and 7X. Looked at a Galco and wasn't impressed.
Simply Rugged uses too much material, they're bulkier than they need to be. |

Have two of the Galcos for Redhawks, quite satisfied.

Chest Holster
I am in the market for a chest holster for my 44 mag Super Blackhawk. I'd like to know more about your choices for or against the Galco vs. Diamond D models. All of my Galco holsters, belt and shoulder, for my double action revolvers have been good. I have a 1.5" Galco pants heavy duty belt that I have been wearing several times a week since I bought it in 1997.
