Recommend a rifle for me?

Since I already have a .357 revolver, I'd like something in a bolt action .357 rifle. Maybe a 4-5rd magazine. I'm not wealthy, I'm on fixed income, so what would you recommend for me to look at, brand-wise? Probably could go maybe $500-800 dollars. New or used. The chores the weapon will see are 1) range time 2) whitetail deer hunting.

I'm pretty much made up my mind on the .357 caliber. Fire the .357 hunting, then the .38spcl on the range. That way my revolver and rifle can eat outta the same box.

Recommendations?

Almost all 357 mag rifles I am aware of are lever action rifles. But on a budget you could get a H & R single action.

For $500-800 you could get a new Marlin 1894C, or 1894CSS lever gun. Don't think there are any bolt action .357 magnum rifles.
