.223 Rifle Choice
Sorry for not including all the models in the world. This polls is asking for your opinion and poll on the weapons which (in my opinion) are major contenders.

The Mini-30 shoots 7.62x39mm (30-cal, hence the name), not 5.56mm. Did you mean the Mini-14, or perhaps the AC-556 (the select-fire version of the Mini-14)?

Yes I did mean RUGER MINI 14 not thirty. Sorry. If Staff can correct that I will appreciate it.

Wait a sec... are you asking which one, IF I could get one in select-fire? Or in the semi-auto versions? And are you asking for MY use, or to equip an army, or what I think the US army/marines should use?
Although the answer is likely the same regardless. The 55x Sig is interesting for a variety of reasons; arguably the best choice. The FN SCAR and Steyr AUG have some strong points as well. As does the M16/M4 type. |

My choice is the Galil, it has the reliability of the AK with better ergonomics. IMHO, it is one of the best combat rifles ever made.
