Jim,

Ethan likes Slip 2000 EWL and Fireclean. The focus of the article was more on specific tips on how and where to apply lube with only three drops.

No, I didn't receive an email from you. Unsure about Froglube.

Jim,

There are some pictures in the article showing lubrication products. On the initial page of the article there's a shot showing Slip 2000 EWL and FireClean. The caption states that "Author has predominantly used Slip 2000 and FireClean over the past few years, with great results." In another picture you can see part of a FireClean bottle.

He never really mentions either of the products in the article itself. The only lubricant mentioned in the text of the article is LAW (Weapons Lubricant, Artic) but it was mentioned in passing, not in the context of a personal endorsement.

Yes he did. He wrote an article entitled "FireClean, Next Generation Lubrication" in the March SWAT issue.

In it he stated that he has used FireClean for the past 3 years and described a recent test he performed using it.

There are mentions of several other lubes (not FrogLube that I can see) but only in passing.
