red dots for around $200?
it is for my gsg5 and im wondering what i should be looking at?
ive never bought a nice scope or red dot so im kinda lost.
i have seen what the cheap ones look like and what a $150 one looks like.
im looking for nothing to small nor to big.

any recommendations for a noob?

i was told to look at the burris xts 135

i think i looked through that fast fire- maybe i didnt but ill find out in a few days. i thought it was hard to recover from after moving my head . i felt like i had to search for the dot for a little while before i saw it where as the other red dots easy viewed their dots.
it is a nice red dot though.
wouldnt the one that was recommended to me above be a better red dot anyway?

Not sure what they're going for these days but I really like the C-More red dots. They are smaller, lightweight, you can change the dot size from 2-16 MOA and they're pretty tough little guys. I've got one on my Ruger 22/45 and on my Saiga 7.62x39.

Bushnell Holosight. They're basically an EoTech for a lot less - close enough to $200.

Sightron electronic sight - lifetime warranty
Selectable 4 different reticles

Not quite as tactical some but works well. Have one on a Ruger MKII Slab

I recommend the Bushnell Holosight as well. I have one on my Saiga 12, and 12 ga recoil hasn't moved it.
