Waffenfabrik Bern Parabellum 06/29
A friend asked me to give a quick function check and cleaning for this Swiss Luger. It belongs to an elderly family member and had not seen the light of day in years. It’s a typical late production example, 1944 made in 7.65 mm parabellum (.30 Luger), not long before the Swiss army would transition to the SIG P49 (210) and the 9 mm cartridge
It’s a bit simpler, cruder and less refined than the previous versions, but still a nice gun nevertheless. Here it is with my 1923 made 06/24 I’ll take it to the range this week |

That's a cool Luger! Bet it would be fun to carry while strolling through the woods looking for small game and varmints.
