Green Mountain recently sold 1:5 or 1:6 barrels too.

I've heard the downside or higher twist rates is faster wear, but you want enough twist to keep your bullet length stable. In my 1:12 barrel, steel core 62gr makes hilarious foot wide groups at 50 yards.

Hornady Steel training 75gr... I have shot this out to 794yds, at a man-sized steel target. Many hundreds of it fired.. no issues what so ever from 5 different AR15's.

Or the 62gr GD....

Working with the 224 valk has been an eye-opener for me in regards to the 224 projectile--my guess is that if you give it enough gas a conventional 7 twist will give you fine results up to 80 grs or so.
