Sig Repair Service and Charges

When you return a firearm to Sig for repair that is not under warranty, do they send you a bill after the fact or do they charge you before the whole repair process starts? I would call them but they are not open on the weekends.

In most cases, they will look at the gun and give you an estimate of what the repair will cost. You'll then need to authorize them to repair the gun, usually by paying the repair cost.

The one time that I had to send a Sig back for repair I called them. They requested my credit card information. They sent me a prepaid shipping label by email. When the repairs were done and the weapon was sent back to me, they then charged my credit card. No hassle at all.
