Changes at the Whittington Center

If you have never been, it is a wonderful facility with all kinds of shooting. But if it has been on your bucket list, it appears you better get there soon because a lot of changes, not good for competition shooting, which is why it was founded, are occurring under the new Director.

Signed. 2,358 have signed so far. And it was counting up as I watched.

Had a friend who worked there. It was essentially an old boy's club and what they wanted they got. WC had a Whit Univ with some dude running all these combat courses. From the previous director (now separated) they got dibs on the land use. Dunno if the current director still allows WU to have dibs anymore.

BTW, stay away from their restaurant. Nasty (fruit salad is not fresh but has a lot of old fruits, scrambled eggs are frozen (just like jail/prison), some stuff is reheated too. Even K-Bob's in Raton is better.

The BOD has stepped in and made some positive changes. More work to do, but the ball is rolling. Thanks to all who helped out.
