What should i use for patrols
i'm a security enforcement officer, i have to patrol an area near 120 acres with two other quick response team members. everyday we look for unruly or belligerent customers. In some situations i really fear for my life. For protection I wear a military style IBA with class III plate on the front to protect myself from small arms fire and shrapnel. Sometimes i fear this is not enough. What if I get shot with a MK 14? what if i get shot in the back? I'm looking for some lightweight armor thats stronger to protect myself.
In addition to better armor, im also looking to arm myself better. Right now i carry a .44 special as my side arm, it is my personal gun approved by the mall manager. The weapon from work we are issued Steyr TMPs because they are easy to conceal while we are patrolling. I'm looking at trading my revolver for a .44 mag just in case some culprits wear body armor too. In addition I want to write to the management to try to get MP7s because they use a more powerful round and they are genrally better guns. what do you think? |

Does the Gecko live, or is this what is known as a "copycat crime"...?
