A $19 good day at the range.

Grandson, 8 years, has figured out the peep sight on the Cricket and moved on to the Plinkster with a scope. Target we were shooting today had a 15 ring that was about two inches in diameter. I put it out to seven yards and told him I'd give him a dollar for every shot in the 15 ring . . . fortunately I limited it to 20 shots. By the time we were done I owed him $19.

On another note, one of the other grandpa types who was there was so pleased to see a young man shooting that he gave us about 80 rounds of 22LR.

Finally, I recently bought a Glock P80 reproduction. I was having a hard time getting it on target. Couldn't hang on to it. Put an aftermarket wrap on the grip and that helped a lot.

Life is good.

Best times of youth was shooting/hunting with grandfather. And it all started with bb rifle in basement, then 22 and finally shotgun.

Your grandson be a fortunate young man.
