H&R 925 question
I just bought a 1978 H&R 925. I removed the hammer strut and expected to see the plastic cap on the hammer strut but it wasn’t there. It has a bent strut that fits into a divot in the underside of the hammer.
It looks like #37, not 37A. I bought the gun from the widow of the original owner and it’s pretty clear it was not disassembled before today. So, to confirm my conclusion that this is a late redesign, does this mean the later 925’s didn’t need the plastic cap? Thanks. |

There were several redesigns of the hammer strut over the years. You have one of them.

Not helpful, but that's just dead sexy.
