On Order - P938

I opted for the Blackout version - and found a decent offer from Tooele Shooting Suppy in Utah. They had three in stock.

My friend in IA was also looking for the exact same version. We bought them within 15 minutes of each other. Seemed like a decent price to both of us.

This is the first pistol that I've bought for carry. I had gone back and forth for about a month on the various options - this one seemed to fit the bill best for what mattered to me.

I have a new P938 and I love it. Hope yours has just been made at Sig or you could be in for problems but call Sig and they will fix it. The date will be on the case the pistol comes in. Good luck and congrats.

Mine has been excellent. No problems, accurate, easy to conceal. It's the best pocket carry gun I've yet come across.

I just spoke with the dealer from who I am purchasing the gun. He said that he's been selling a bunch of them - and they are all recent manufacture dates.

Tooele Shooting Supply - btw. Seemed like a nice fellow.

Hope you have good luck with yours, mine has been flawless. Just needed a good cleaning and lube, and a box or 2 of ball to smooth things out. The magazines are a bear to load though, without a UpLula or similar. Very stiff springs for sure.

I just bought one day before yesterday. With the rosewood grips. I had gotten the P238 (Nitron) a few days before and it just seemed natural to pick up the 938 as well. Now I'm about to order the Sig Rosewood grips to go on my 238 because I like the way they look on the 938. I had gotten a pair of the Hogue black rubber grips and put on the 238, but I want the Rosewood too. lol

I picked up the 7 rd magazine for both as well. But no kidding on the stiff spring on the 938 mag!

Now I just need to find a IWB holster and belt that will conceal this 938 under my light weight summer clothes!! Otherwise it's gonna be sitting as a range gun and winter gun cause it's printing on me pretty bad...
