MAS 49/56 Magazine original and converted .308.

I need some help with taking my magazines apart. I tried two of them but the floorplate is stuck in place. The third one came off easy. But the floor plate does not lock in place.

How do I take them apart?

Does the bottom magazine plate come out? It could be some piece of metal you depress so you can slide the cover out.

there are several small holes on both sides. I put a small screwdriver in it to push the spring down and try to slide the plate off. I figured there was some little trick to get it off. or no one has done it in 50 years.
