Trapdoor buttplates and the like?
I am building my second rifle, the previous being an AR-15, was pretty straightforward. I picked up a Stevens 200 in .308 and like 99% of the others am throwing away the plastic for a Boyds laminate, trigger, and when Pacific Tool and Gague gets off their bum a drop in fluted bolt body (why...beacuse I can). Eventually the barrel yes but not for a bit. Anyways, I have found all the items i want for the rifle online and managed to procure them or plan to shortly except this.....

New England Custom Gunworks has cartridge traps and various other gun building goodies. Not cheap, but they have them.

Thanks
Awesome, that is just what i was looking for. 150$ is a bit pricey for a hinge and some metal but at least it is already a smooth surface to engrave on. Thanks again for the help.
