Fieldstrip a EAA AK Saiga rifle

I have ordered an EAA Saiga rifle, upon reciept, I would like to fieldstrip to clean and lube before the range, does anyone know how to fieldstrip the AK Saiga ? thanks

I'm not sure but I would think it would be very close to any other AK clone. If you don't get a manual with the rifle drop me an e-mail and I'll send you instructions. George

They come from the factory with a manual with pictures. It's really easy too.

If it doesn't come with a manual, EAA has them for download on their website, I think you need Adobe Acrobat to read it.

EAA Saiga-Fieldstrip

Thanks for your input, picked up the EAA AK Saiga .223 today. The rifle is much better than I expected. I have stripped and cleaned it, and I see no defects, in fact, very good looking. I will go to the ranch tomorrow and try it out, it may be just the thing for carrying for coyotes and wild hogs. I was surprised to find a cleaning kit, along with the instruction manual. Hmm, I may have to pickup one of the 12 gauges shotguns also. Safe shooting.

Just purchased a saiga IZ 132. Any one know where I can get or purchase a manual for this. I don't have a clue how to field strip it.
