Scoping The Ruger Charger, Help. . . .

I have owned/used 2 Leupold Handgun scopes, and love my cabinet of Leupold scoped rifles, that being said, I am not going to put a Leupold on this gun, a new Ruger Charger. I know these guns are accurate, I shot another gentleman's and was hitting eggs at 90 yards off a bench with a Leupold 4X well at least 2 out of three times

That being said these guns are accurate I have my heart set on one, but I need to scope it, I am looking at variable power scopes for shooting 10-100 yards, and the Leuy's are currently out of the budget ( a couple hundred more than the gun!!)

Help a guy out!

Scoping a Ruger Charger

Having recently purchased a Ruger Charger, i added a BSA 2x-7x variable scope and have been able to match shoot .5 iinch groups at 50 yards. The BSA scope is not an expensive scope, but allows for a variable objective and provides a great field of view for target shooting. Cabelas offers the scope for about $130 and with the Weaver type scope rail mount on the Charger, it is easily mounted.

Prior to shooting my Charger, I debated as to what scope to use. Felt that I could push it's performance by not settling for a RedDot. I did a trigger job and put a variable Simmons "Rifle" scope on it and have never regretted it. I mostly shoot this from a bench but do shoot off-hand using a crossarm hold. These little guys are just plain fun, to shoot.

Be Safe !!!
