SKS Rifles in Ct
Can anyone tell me if it is legal to own a SKS in CT? I know 7.62x39 is not legal to own in CT. But what about one in 7.62x54? Any information will be appreciated. Thanks Scott

The SKS in 7.62x39 is perfectly legal in CT. Have a look at the statute here:
http://www.cga.ct.gov/2005/pub/Chap9...Sec53-202a.htm Just make sure it conforms to the above.

7.62 x 39 is legal in Ct.Whats not legal is a AK47 in 7.62 x 39. A Ak47 in any other caliper can be legal in CT.
