Need some Tikka information

Found a Tikka Hunter for sale online and was wondering if anyone knows what kind of recoil pad the Hunter has. I've got 2 Tikkas and have had to buy new limbsaver pads for both. The factory pad was like a pice of truck tire cut off and screwed on. Hard as a rock. Was at local gun store today and noticed the newer t3 rifles have a liveable recoil pad. No limbsaver but has give to it. Unfortunately no T3 Hunter to look at. Thought the T3s might be the new t3x but wasn't. Don't know when they changed pads.

think of how it shoots or bore condition is more of concern than a 20.00 pad

Tikka rifles shoot pretty well, and can kick pretty good because of their light weight. A good recoil pad doesn't cost much and will fix the problem. We have customers come in with brand new Tikka rifles and ask for recoil pads because their 300 Win Mag or 7mm Rem Mag kicks so hard it makes their vision blurry. Get a Kick-Eez pad put on your Tikka, and move on to more important things.

Not an answer to the question but good as it's going to get I guess. I'm aware of other pads.

Just from looking online it looks like the Tikka Hunter comes with the typical "Tikka" recoil pad.

My Tikka Hunter is in 6.5x55SE. The recoil pad that came with this rifle is fine.
