Tisas Fatih wood grips

I understand that the Tisas Fatih is an exact licensed clone of the Beretta Cheetah 84. I am wanting to purchase some wood grips but I am unsure of exactly what grips will fit. I have been told that the Beretta 84 grips will work with just a little sanding. Has anyone done this?

Not quite an exact copy. Aside from the way the underside of the frame tunnel transitions to the trigger guard, the Beretta front strap has a curve toward the bottom, where the Tisas is straight. Looking at photos of both, my guess is that grips made for the Beretta could be used on the Tisas, but you would have to take out that curve at the lower front corner to make them fit right. Depending on what the grips have for a checkering pattern, that might or might not look acceptable.
