First Ever “Fix NICS” Report Released
According to the report, over 6 million new records have been added to NICS since the Fix NICS Act was passed. According to DOJ, this has resulted in reducing retrievals of firearms released to prohibited people by around 102 per month as well as reducing the number of delayed responses.
The report can be found here: https://www.justice.gov/ag/page/file/1217396/download |

This steams me up a little. This is the system we THOUGHT would be in place when it was implemented. As in, "Okay gun control folk, here's the NICS system you were begging for. We give in and you can have it."
Okay. They GOT it. And what did they do with it? They didn't keep it current and updated and they didn't keep it complete. THAT'S NOT OUR FAULT!!! It just kind of highlights that whatever laws are passed, if you don't enforce them, they aren't going to actually DO anything!!! (rant off). |

They did (what they consider) their job, they got the law(s) passed and the system implanted. That's where they believe their responsibility ENDS. Running the system, (and keeping it updated) is, to them, SCUTWORK! It's beneath the elite. It's a job for menials, not the ruling elite who have the right thoughts, went to the right schools and actually have money..... They want the laurels and accolades from their fellow travelers and true believers but don't and won't do the hard, real work of making the system they sold us actually work the way they told us it would. They make much noise about how tolerant they are, how they believe in equality for all, and a classless society... but brother, some animals are always MORE equal than others.....

44 AMP we've got a local newspaper columnist/podcaster that calls it "Ruling from the Salon". I think you and he sum things up very nicely.
