Ring height moss brand 870 cantilever

I figure it's worth a shot to ask. I'm getting a mossberg brand cantilever rifled barrel for my Remington 870. I'm mounting a 3x9x40 on it. Wondering if anyone has one, what height scope rings did you use? It would save me a few trips back and forth to the store.

40mm requires medium rings.

Lately, I've noticed that a number of ring manufacturers have stated listing scope information, on the blister packs. For instance, I had to mount a 40mm belled scope on a rifle, for a friend. They were weaver steel and marked;
For, up to a 42mm scope. Look for this information when you go shopping. My scope happened to be 40mm. The fit and my cheek-weld were very good. By the way, The steel Weavers turned out to be excellent rings. ..
