Great place for stainless 1 piece guide rods`
Guys,
I always like to mention Steve Bedair's guide rods when I do an upgrade on any of my newly acquired guns, but I never really mentioned where to get them or just how amazing the quality of work is. Well go here http://www.bedair.org/ and you can browse his website and order directly thru the site. You can also see the amazing work he does. I have owned many stainless guide rods in the past and I can honestly say that the guide rods that Steve puts out are the best in terms of overall quality and appearance. I always check each and every part I put into my pistols to make sure it matches factory specs (well with custom/competition parts they need to meet their designers specs) and i can say that the Bedair Guide rods mic'd (used a micrometer) out uniformly across the entire length of the rod. Many other guide rods are not uniform across and their weight is not evenly distributed (I am assuming that many use inferior stock and poor equipment (like a worn out lathe or possibly using extruded materials and just polishing to resemble a machined product). anyway, you can't go wrong with teh price from Steve Bedair and his products are top notch. I highly recommend him.
