Huntin some Canadian Geese

Plannin a goose hunt here in mid-December and I'm just curious as to what shell you migratory hunters use. So lets here it!

Alright, I ended up picking up some 3 inch 2 shot, I'm sure that'll do the job.

If you are hunting geese or any waterfowl, make sure you buy steel shot. I like the 3" T or F for geese. It may or may not be legal in your area...T-shot is .20" in diameter, F shot is .22' in diameter.

I have to use the nontoxic stuff. Bismuth 2 shot 3in or Tungston matrix BB 3in, whichever I can find first, usually the Tungston.

Steel 2's would be my choice for decoying - T shot if pass shooting.

Hint: ask for cooking lessons for Christmas....

I use 3" #4 Hevi-Shot on Canadas, although #6 will work over decoys at 25 or 35 yards.
