Snap Loop OWB Holsters?
For example: http://lobogunleather.com/4_1-sl_pan...tyle_snap-loop
Who uses this style holster? What are the pros and cons over standard belt loops? Do they stay secure on the belt? |

I don't own one, but given my carry habits, I would consider one if it were IWB. I wouldn't use OWB for most carry applications. |

I prefer the standard pancake type of holster, makes the holster's width less than snap-off style.
These my preferences: Carried the little Model 19 for many years, but switched to the Ruger about two years ago. No, I don't open carry, my gun is usually concealed by a sport coat, jacket, or in summer, a vest. This was one of my earlier holsters for a S&W Model 586: Bob Wright |

I don't use one but I've made several for others and the main reason for wanting one was so they wouldn't have to undo the belt to put the holster on and off (like you have to with the pancakes shown above.)
I've yet to hear any complaints of the snaps not holding up. |
