Washington state IDPA

I'm interested in IDPA and I know of only 1 range, in Renton, that does events on the weekends. I don't live that close to Renton so I was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction for a place to shoo IDPA closer to Tacoma/Puyallup. I work mon-fri, often till after 7pm, so weekday shoots are almost always a no go.

Thanks, I'll see if I can get a message to him. I know there has to be somewhere close to me that shoots IDPA on weekends.

hey! sorry I just saw this.

The WA State match will be in Renton, but if you're living in Puyallup, then you're in luck! Paul Bunyan is the closest one to you.

Here are the other ranges and regular match schedules :
  • Renton is every 3rd Saturday.
  • Paul Bunyan (Puyallup) is every 4th Saturday
  • Firearms Academy of Seattle (Chehalis) (not regular but will post on forum)
  • Black Diamond (after June)
  • West Coast Armory (Tuesday nights)

The best thing to do is to join us on the NWPPA Forums, where we post matches and just hang out. Great bunch of people. Just introduce yourself and ask as many questions as you like. http://www.nwppaonline.org

hope that helps! if you need more help, just feel free to PM or email me.

cheers!

There's a club locator page at idpa.com: http://www.idpa.com/clublist.asp?pick=WA

Thanks for the info guys. I'll try to make the june paul bunyan match. I've never shot IDPA or any competition before so that will be fun.

Finding a local club near you near Seattle

I have a website that list the clubs near the Seattle area for IDPA, USPSA, Fun Steel and more...

Check it out and you'll be able to see by day of month the clubs near you.

www.shootonthemove.org/calendar

Click on the date and event to get more details... of each specific shoot.
