Which primer for 7mm rem mag loads?

Should I use a magnum primer for reloading 7mm? Or could I use cci Benchrest 200, The powder I will be using is rl22 or imr7828 with 140 grain and 160 grain bullets primarily. Or any other sugestions on what has worked well for you guys? I have been using cci br2 for my .280 with great results, so I am just wondering if I should change to a magnum primer?
Thanks
Elmer

I don't load for the 7 Rem. but I do load on either side of it in 7 S&H and 7 Whby. I use Federal 215 Magnum / Match primers with good results in each.

Primers are cheap why take the chance on erratic ignition and the resulting loss of accuracy?

Good luck and be safe.

I would agree with Hank. I use, and have had the best luck with the fed. 215 primers. The winchester wlrm primer is a bit hotter, but it will be up to you're gun on which one it likes bettter. This does pertain to the magnum cartridges.

Another vote for Federal 215's. Never had a problem with them.

I've had excellent luck w/ H4831SC (short cut...) and CCI Large Rifle primers. I figure don't break what ain't broke... I get sub MOA w/ it out of my Rem 700.

I use Remington primers exclusively. Been doing this for25+ years without any problems. Try the Remington 91/2 M. You'll like it!

I've used CCI mag primers for 30 years. No problems. It's like the best fly for trout fishing........is the one you use most often.

I use Winchester Large Rifle primers and RL-19 for my 7mm Remington Magnum loads.

As a matter of fact, I've used WLR for every rifle load I've ever put together.
