AMD 65

I really like the AMD 65, which is basically the Hungarian version of AK47. Very handy because of its size and ergonomics.

Here are some pictures of my AMD 65:

Folding stock is uncomfortable
Forward pistol grip interferes with magazine changes (30 rd-ers)
Muzzle blast is a bear
Muzzle brake isn't effective, would be better swapped out or more barrel length IMHO
Produces quite allot of muzzle FLASH
Metal hand guard... prefer plastic or wood. As I recall it is also a different size, making it hard to switch out.

Don't get me wrong, it works. Had virtually no functioning issues with them, and have shot them from point blank FA out to 500+ meters. I just think there are better offerings out there.

My biggest issues with it as a fighting rifle is the muzzle blast which is Harsh, and the muzzle flash. And lastly the ergonomics.

I agree on the mag chnage issue. Also if stock is folded it obstructs the drum mag.

Rest i can live with
