remington model 11 12 ga. question

...will a buttplate from the browning auto-5 fit this gun? the remmy is built on the browning patent i believe, and the remington part is hard to find...thanks in advance

I'm not sure. But Numrich Gun Parts Corp. has the model 11 plate in stock and ready to ship for $5.75 and it says Remington on it.
