Harrington and Richardson
A buddy of mine has a Harrington and Richardson single shot 12 gauge for sale. It's case hardened, and looks great! Any info on these shotguns would be aprreciated.

They are good shotguns. They are very lightweight, though, so they kick HARD.
How much does he want for it? |

For revenge, take them shooting, let them shoot that beast for a while, then for the next few days slap 'em hard on the shoulder when you greet them
Those who post that H&R 12ga's kick is absolutely right. They don't kick, they *bruise*, even with reduced recoil slugs and a proper seat. That tiny plastic buttplate...

First gun I ever bought was a NEF 12 gauge, which is the same thing. My shoulder rejoiced the day I sold it, although for many years (college and graduate school) it was the only gun I owned. You get used to it; very handy little package, actually. Giving it to a new shooter is a trip to watch, though.
